The way the script works is that it is able to connect to the various safelists you are a member of, sign-on to the members area automatically, and then post your ad. Ther script is able to work like a computer program in the background, so once you have set your ad to be sent out, thousands of Safelists could be receiving your email advert, without any further action from you. potentially this could save you alot of work because you no longer need to visit each Safelist in turn to send out your ad
Problems With Safelist Submitters
If only everything in life was that simple!! One click posting to thousands of safelists would be a good idea if it worked - however there are a number of reasons why this strategy simply doesnt work - although there is no shortage of people ready to give the idea a go!
Unfortunately, because of the way safelists work, it doesnt take much of a "glitch" either in your email account or the safelists script, for your account to be put on hold. The result is that you may "think" you are sending out to thousands of Safelists - in reality you are sending to "thin air" as most of the accounts will be on hold or even deleted altogether! So you really do have to send manually, there really is no other alternative - except for in-house type submitters where you dont actually need to be a member of the Safelists you are submitting to
Submitters Which Dont Require You To Have A Safelist Account
One of the best ways to use Safelist Submitters is to take out a membership of a Safelist Host type submitter, where you dont actually have to join any of the Safelists yourself. This saves you from any problems with email, bounces or problems to do with your account being put on vacation or even deleted alltogether. the way this system works is that some of the bigger Safelists Hosting companies that maintain hundreds of Safelists, allow you to send your ad every day to all the Safelists in one go without actually being a member of any of them yourself. This means you wont be flooded with email, but you can still send out your email ad every day to all the safelist members.
